General Appearance: Kylar has a very dark and lithe body type. The viewer is instantly drawn to his scar, practically the only thing you can see of his face, except for his mouth and nose. His mouth is almost always twisted in a small smirk of satisfaction. On the rare occasions that you can see his eyes they’re either intense with anger or distant. He has a scar on his right eye, one he wears with pride as a symbol of his family. Taking a closer look at his body a person would notice that it doesn’t exactly bleed off an intimidating aura, but that doesn’t mean Kylar isn’t a force to be reckoned with; he may lack a strong physique but he makes up for it with greater agility.
Scars, Tattoos, & Distinguishing Features: Kylar has a scar on his right eye, seeming to be from a blade or a surgery.

Kylar has a maroon scarf that wraps around his neck. He wears it by looping it once around his head, he then moves it around so that the ends of the scarf are at the back of his head and they flow out whenever he moves quickly. The ends of the scarf are ripped and torn from the years of close calls and encounters where Kylar had just dodged attacks at the last moment. Kylar wears a mauve singlet that has stretchy segments stitched into its design allowing the singlet to fit perfectly to the wearer’s body size and tone. On the straps of material that goes over the shoulders, on the back and front portion there is a hole on both sides. The hole is there for his arm garments which take in the form of a sleeve.

The sleeve covers the hand hiding it from view with a v shaped edge while the rest of the fabric fully covers up the forearm. It continues all the way up to the just the top of the arm where it turns into two straps. These straps go into the holes of the singlet and are attached there with a blue button. This leaves the shoulder exposed and part of the chest and back while keeping the arms warm and mobility around the shoulder joint. Kylar is wearing a cross belt, the cross belt has a number of functions other than being stylish. Here the cross belt can be used to hold weapons.

A cross belt is four straps of leather converging on the front and back allowing the user to attach an assortment of things onto them. This can be as simple as smoke bombs, bladed weapons, scrolls, etc. Assisting in this of hiding objects within his lower body is the cloak that begins at the top of his waist and flows down and covers the lower back region as well as his legs. The cloak is outlined with a silver edge, but the bottom of the cloak is frayed and shredded like his scarf and are due to the same circumstances.

Kylar’s wears skin tight pants which are made out of stretchy material, this allows him to maintain warmth while sacrificing none of his movement. His thighs are covered in a mauve bandage that he wraps around from the bottom of his hip to the top of his knee. This provides an additional layer of clothing protecting his thighs from an assortment of attacks. Kylar wears shin guards on both his legs that are maroon. They have three buckles that hold it in place. He wears soft shoes that provide minimal protection, but in exchange for stealth and silence.

Kylar’s custom made revolver. The whole gun is pretty big for a revolver. It’s violet barrel is as strong as steel, but is as light as a feather. The grip is made from a material that doesn’t get sticky, it passively secrets a sticky substance that draws liquid to it. The barrel is 12" long and has runes running down the side of it, written in a foreign language.

Kylar has a cross shaped necklace that he wears as a symbol of his pride. It is made of platinum and has a small sapphire inside of its center.

- Type: Gun Enchantment
- Effect: Kylar’s gun. It’s runes will glow red and feeds off of Kylar’s blood. It uses Kylar’s blood as a source of ammunition, it condenses the liquid into a small sphere, solidifys it, then fires it out at a high speed. The gun is only capable of firing nonlethal bullets, but these bullets possess the ability to knock someone down or, if connects at the head, knock someone out.

A book right out of Lucifer’s personal library. This magic enables the user with the ability to summon chains, hooks, flames, acid, knives, blades… anything really. To a limited extent it allows the user to manipulate people.. It also allows the user to heal, sustain and even negate death all the while extracting blood and pain from them. The magic feeds off of blood and pain and the more the user inflicts, the more control they have over the magic, the more “at home” they feel with themselves.

- Type: Binding: Offensive
Effect: The technique allows the user to summon up to 8 chains, from various angles around the victim (can spawn from air or they can spawn from materials such as walls or the ground) and each of them attempt to hook into a different part of the victims body, each of the hooks is the size of a meat hook. The hooks and chains last until they are dismissed. The chains have a range of 50 feet and come out with the force and speed of a thrown baseball; allowing it to pierce skin easily, but not pierce through armor. This technique is a manifestation of Kylar’s inner need to feed off of pain and blood.

- Type: Torture: Slicing/Stabbing
Effect: This technique allows the user to summon up to two blades. These ‘blades’ last until dismissed and take the appearance of any sort of blade the user can imagine (knives, swords, scalpels, etc.) The ‘blades’, when summoned or being shifted, appear as a featureless black shape in the silhouette of a blade. When the ‘blades’ have fully formed they take on a purplish hue and glow light blue, these ‘blades’ are made up of magical energy and are equivalent to steel in terms of strength and durability. The ‘blades’ themselves feed off the blood and pain of an enemy, needing to be coated in blood before being fully dismissed. You can temporarily dismiss the blades, but the user will still feel incredible blood lust. The feeling of bloodlust goes away if the blade is coated in blood.

- Effect: This technique allows the user to heal up to critical wounds, for both himself and other people. The healing takes a while to fully finish; small wounds heal quickly, large wounds take longer. The user feels the pain as their flesh, muscles and tendons knit back together, approximately double the pain of the original wound.

Born to a poor family, Kylar has had a hard time with life from day one. His birth, went like any other, it was… normal to say the least. However, the circumstances of his birth, were definitely unnatural at best. A violent angry father and a loving accepting mother, any normal person would wonder how such an angel could stay with a man such as this, but few ever openly question her resolve however. He inherited most of his personality from his father, both of them wanting to achieve what ancestors never could: marking the Stern name in history. His looks however are almost all derived from his mother; her amber eyes, her sleek black hair and her lean physique are all he has to remember her by. He wants nothing more then to do well by her, but at the same time he also wants to do well by his father. Kylar grew up to become a wonderful boy; by the time he was 10, his talents really started to show: his talents for range, his aptitude for quick subtle movements, and his destructive nature.

He stole a gun from his parents room, merely walking out and wandering around for a bit, not a wholly remarkable thing, but what was remarkable was what he did with the gun. Kylar was happy, filled with an almost demonic glee, he had just taken something that didn’t belong to him and he knew it, and he was determined to make his new play thing have a lasting impact. He knew from experience that things shaped like a kunai could harm or even kill someone, but he didn’t want to experiment on a person. Kylar quickly found a cat, a ragged and sickly looking cat, and he swiftly ended the cats life, a simple bullet to the throat. The cat simply twitched and fell over, bleeding all over Kylar and the surrounding area. The blood made him woozy and he fainted; he woke up to find his parents and a medic ushering him awake. He was questioned about why he woke up covered in blood, he answered truthfully and they started a small investigation to prove that he wasn’t lying to hide something.

They soon proved that he actually did preform those actions and instead of being punished, he should be rewarded with a certain set of magic; his father had never been more proud and his mother felt the exact same way. His training proved several things about him; he excelled at the ranged training, yet he failed at close range combat. He never got discouraged even once because he knew that hard work meant more then just raw skill. He knew that he could be a gifred mage, he’d just have to work for it, he wanted to make himself stronger and make his name famous amongst the Fiorian people. He quickly left the training, he didn’t feel that it was teaching him all he could learn, and his family couldn’t have been more devastated.

His family gave him a small going away party, nothing too big just some friends and family, more to make it seem like they were proud of their sons decision instead of horribly offended. Even though his son had just left and things weren’t to bad in his life, Kylar’s father had grown distant and cold the week leading up to his graduation. His father had become angry, so angry over the fact that his son had preformed better then he could hope to, but when his own son announced he was leaving… that night he drank a lot… a lot… and he an idea entered his brain, he should slaughter his entire family. He beat his wife, mercilessly pounding her flesh, killing her with his bare hands and still having enough energy to move onto Kylar. Kylar was asleep, his body and mind worn out from the days events, and didn’t react when his father entered his room; he didn’t even hear him as he savagely beat his mother. Kylar’s father had grabbed a knife, his chest was drenched in sweat and blood, his face and hair were similarly cloaked in the same foul liquid. Kylar shifted in his sleep from the stench of his father and he slowly stirred, stirred enough to accidentally dodge the blow that was coming from his father.

His father, in his drunken stupor, had cut Kylar’s eye, nearly blinding the poor child. He haphazardly tried to slice and stab his son, but luckily… for Kylar that is… one of his neighbors had heard the screams and had come over to help. They attempted to restrain the father, but they were hit with a stray punch and knocked unconscious. Kylar only saw flashes of his father, but the flashes he did see weren’t pretty; a sanguine haze to the night, blood filling his nostrils, gore covering his father, pain and darkness. Kylar shouted in a foreign language, and magically chains bound his father. As they tore into his father’s flesh, an eagerness overwhelmed Kylar. He mentally tugged on the chains, pulling them apart ever so slightly and a huge grin appeared on his face. Kylar kept pulling and pulling, until finally his father quite literally snapped. Kylar was coated in blood and was happier then he had ever felt. Kylar fainted, part of his mind had awakened and his body went into shock because of it. Kylar was forever scarred by the event, both physically and mentally, he didn’t realize what he could do… or even how he had done it. Kylar moved away for a bit, living with his aunt in a small shack in the woods, Kylar stayed in exile while he got used to being alone, while he was still raw from the tragic loss of his parents. Kylar was quite used to being alone by the time he came back, his view on the world twisted, but his strength in his magic had grown. He is determined to make his family proud and he was going to set his name in history for all generations to remember.
